Tricia Krause is creating a file for sicknesses. With the data people provide to Ms. Krause she can build a cancer/illness map. This will help to visualize who was sick, where they lived, and for how long.
Please send Ms. Krause the following data:
You can email Tricia Krause at crestwoodwater@aol.com
Also the Attorney General's office is going to be sending her information for people that she can forward on to the citizens.
As we all already know how shocked about the news of the water; we need to keep working together. I am asking everyone to display a large ribbon around your tree to paint a real picture about the story of your family.
The governmental officials are coming to town; and I think this will extend our voices.
Blue Ribbon for brain tumor
Red Ribbon for blood disorder (non-hodgkins, leukemia, lymphoma, hodgkins, etc.)
Yellow Ribbon for liver or kidney cancer
White for neurological problems
Black if someone has deceased with cancer.
This will be a representation of our own epidemiological map. If anyone has any questions, please let me know.
Sincerely,
Tricia Krause

Full text of Bill HB4021 to ensure safety for our water supplies.
Past both Houses 5/30/2009
The General Assembly passed House Bill 4021. The legislation was developed in response to recent revelations that the Village of Crestwood had been supplementing the town's water supply with water from a well found to be contaminated for (according to my documentation and the IEPA confirmed) 40 years of commingling. While current law requires notification of contamination to the owners and operators of the water system (in this case, the Village of Crestwood), it does not currently mandate notification to the people who drink the water. H.B. 4021 corrects that problem by requiring prompt notice to all of the users of the water when contamination is discovered. The bill also makes providing false information to environmental enforcement officials a felony under state law.

Village of Crestwood Sounding Board to discuss village issues
A lifetime Crestwood citizen had a great idea. This is what he said.
"WE SHOULD HAVE A COLOR OF RIBBON THAT PEOPLE CAN PUT UP TO SHOW (THE MAYOR AND EVERYONE ELSE) WE SUPPORT THE CAUSE. KIND OF A SYMBOL OF UNITY, OR SOLIDARITY AMONG ALL OF US."
GREEN was chosen to represent support for all. This will be a new ribbon representing unity, and solidarity for all.
